Dr CHOW Lai Yin (known as Dickson for most people) is a specialist psychiatrist working in a public hospital in Hong Kong. He graduated from a medical school and was trained in Psychiatry in Hong Kong. Ever since his days as a trainee, he has been having a keen interest in psychotherapy as an effective modality to help people. He was trained in various disciplines of psychotherapy yet his main interests remain in psychodynamic psychotherapy and family therapy. Apart from his basic medical degree, Dr CHOW earned a Graduate Diploma in Child Psychotherapy Studies from the Monash University and a Master of Health Sciences in Sexual Health from the University of Sydney. Dr CHOW is Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK), the Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Psychiatry). He is also a fellow and faculty member of the Asian Academy of Family Therapy.
